Hi there, I’m Ashley Edmunds and I photograph weddings all over the world but my heart is in Virginia.
I grew up in Richmond, lived in the heart of Shenandoah for 7 years, and then found my way back to Richmond. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a little Richmond obsessed. I can help you find the best restaurant, park, or brewery for any part of this wonderful city. I love photographing weddings here at home, in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, DC, and beyond! When I’m not photographing weddings I’m most likely chasing River, my yellow lab trying to get a shoe out of his mouth, teaching my high school kiddos, or traveling with my amazing fiance Craig.

Spring Mill at Fine Creek Wedding

I’m so excited today to share Kelley and Addison’s Spring Mill at Fine Creek Wedding day! I got to start the weekend Friday night with these two at Fine Creek Brewing for their rehearsal dinner and it was amazing. The speeches and vibes really set the weekend off to a good start. I love photographing rehearsal dinners because I get an inside peek into your closest family and friends before the wedding day. It really completes the weekend! Spring at the Mill is WOW!!!!! I showed up and thought Kelley and Addison had decked the whole venue out in florals but really it was just in perfect bloom all around the grounds. It was stunning!

A Truly Flawless Day

The whole day I kept thinking, “are we really this far ahead of schedule?” It was wild!!! Kelley and her planning team were so organized and detailed and almost every part of the day finished early. Kelley and Addison got the enjoy the entire hour of cocktail hour. They also had an hour of downtime to cool off before the ceremony. We got so many photos done before the day started and topped it all off with a beautiful sunset out on the creek! The creek is such a beautiful backdrop for photos and is hidden from guests so it gives some privacy, it’s so beautiful. I hope you two had a wonderful honeymoon. I can’t wait for your to relive the best weekend!!!
