Hi there, I’m Ashley Edmunds and I photograph weddings all over the world but my heart is in Virginia.
I grew up in Richmond, lived in the heart of Shenandoah for 7 years, and then found my way back to Richmond. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a little Richmond obsessed. I can help you find the best restaurant, park, or brewery for any part of this wonderful city. I love photographing weddings here at home, in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, DC, and beyond! When I’m not photographing weddings I’m most likely chasing River, my yellow lab trying to get a shoe out of his mouth, teaching my high school kiddos, or traveling with my amazing fiance Craig.

I am SO excited to share CJ and Britany’s Estate at Independence wedding today. These two had the most beautiful weather for their June wedding day. Everything went according to timeline and so flawless. Megan and her team at Estate at Independence are truly incredible! They leave no detail unlooked.
CJ and I go 30 years back! Him and my brother are friends so it was a treat to know so many people at this wedding! I feel honored that CJ and Britany trusted me to document their day. CJ and Britany met at work and the rest is history! I loved seeing their family and friends interact all day and hearing incredible speeches. The dance party that DJ Neili Neil threw was incredible complete with a photobooth, signature cocktails, and custom desserts.
Thank you both again for such an amazing day! You guys have a month of a lifetime- getting married and moving to your dream house! I’m so excited for you two and can’t wait to celebrate you both for years to come.
CJ and Britany have two nieces that are SO cute! They had such a good time getting ready with the girls and dancing at the reception.

I caught grandma watching CJ as Britany came down the aisle. I love finding these little moments!
Britany prepared a speech for her mom. There wasn’t a dry eye once she was done!
