Hi there, I’m Ashley Edmunds and I photograph weddings all over the world but my heart is in Virginia.
I grew up in Richmond, lived in the heart of Shenandoah for 7 years, and then found my way back to Richmond. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a little Richmond obsessed. I can help you find the best restaurant, park, or brewery for any part of this wonderful city. I love photographing weddings here at home, in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, DC, and beyond! When I’m not photographing weddings I’m most likely chasing River, my yellow lab trying to get a shoe out of his mouth, teaching my high school kiddos, or traveling with my amazing fiance Craig.

Independence Golf Club Wedding

I had never photographed an Independence Golf Club wedding but was warned that I would instantly fall in love from other wedding vendors and boy were they right! The moment I drove on the property, I knew I wouldn’t want to leave!! Everyone was so incredibly kind and helpful, the spaces were SO beautiful, and it truly is a magical place to have a wedding. Megan and Kacie and their team went above and beyond and helped with every aspect of the day. Thank you all for providing such a great environment for Jackie and Connor to have the best day!!

Rehearsal Dinner

Jackie and Connor added on rehearsal dinner coverage which is always such a treat for me!! They had their dinner at Buckhead’s Chop House in Richmond. Their friends and family gave the most heartfelt speeches. Lots of tears, including my own. I showed up on the wedding day already knowing their family and bridal party which makes everyone feel more comfortable. Jackie has the most incredible style. I adored both of your dresses!

Beautiful Wedding Day

Jackie and Connor both got ready at the Estate just an elevator ride away. They got married on the amazing golf course with lots of wind and sun! We took the golf cart around and got so many portraits! Most favorite part of the whole day was sunset!! It was UNREAL, the most beautiful sunset I’ve seen at a wedding. We took the golf cart around and took portraits and took a minute to just chill and decompress. It was such a special time! After sunset, we all jammed out the The Bachelor Boys (an incredible band)! Thank you guys for trusting me to photograph your day and I hope you had a blast on your mini-moon! Enjoy reliving the best day ever!
