Hi there, I’m Ashley Edmunds and I photograph weddings all over the world but my heart is in Virginia.
I grew up in Richmond, lived in the heart of Shenandoah for 7 years, and then found my way back to Richmond. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a little Richmond obsessed. I can help you find the best restaurant, park, or brewery for any part of this wonderful city. I love photographing weddings here at home, in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, DC, and beyond! When I’m not photographing weddings I’m most likely chasing River, my yellow lab trying to get a shoe out of his mouth, teaching my high school kiddos, or traveling with my amazing fiance Craig.

Hollyfield Manor Fall Wedding

Where to even start with this amazing Hollyfield Manor Fall wedding?! Makaylah had a vision and she and the team NAILED IT. When I pulled up to Hollyfield and saw King William Florist working on the arch in front of the manor house, I knew it was going to be a show stopping day. Every single detail of the day came together so perfectly. Some of my favorites were the beautiful florals, the touch of bows throughout the day, the dance floor decal, and of course the fairytale love story. When Makaylah saw the reception space, she gave Jessica (Hollyfield Coordinator) the biggest most well deserved hug- it was truly so beautiful.

Family

Makaylah and Landen- I adored meeting all of your family and friends. Everyone was so kind and helpful and truly excited for the two of you. I loved watching your daughter interact with everyone throughout the day- she is so so loved. You two had very emotional first looks, speeches, and dances. I had some tears hiding behind the camera for sure. The fire work show was the perfect send off- everyone was so surprised. I love how the two of you were constantly thinking about your guests experience. I hope your first few weeks of marriage have been amazing. Thank you both again for trusting me to document your best day yet!
