Josh and Bekah had an amazing wedding day on Sunday at the Renaissance downtown Richmond. They had the perfect weather even if it got a little hot while we were taking portraits. This wedding was my first Jewish wedding and I guarantee you it won’t be my last, I had a blast!!! There are so many unique traditions that happened throughout the day, I felt honored to be a part of it all. Josh and Bekah did an amazing job educating me on what would happen, so I felt very prepared. Just a few moments from this day I’ll never forget- Everyone in Richmond stopping Josh and Bekah to tell them congratulations, the sentimental speeches from different family members, the amazing dance party complete with a live band and nightingale ice cream sandwiches, and the notorious wipe out Bekah had recessing down the aisle (more below). The love you two share is contagious, I wish you all the best!!
Love love the converse look that Bekah rocked!
Brides- first look with parents and/or friends can be so fun!! See two photos below!
Since Josh and Bekah did a first look, we were able to go down to the river and have plenty of time to take portraits!
This bridal party was so much fun!! When they all came out dressed up, people were stopping in the middle of the street to take pictures of them. I don’t blame them!
The Adams family taking photos on Adams street. This was Bekah’s last hour of being an Adams!
Sisters!
I absolutely loved learning all about the Jewish traditions that took place throughout the day.
This Chuppah that Josh and Bekah got married under was made with many women’s wedding gowns from the family, so powerful!!
Josh may or may not have stepped on Bekah’s dress after they were announced husband and wife and Bekah took a tumble. You would think she would be embarrassed but instead we laughed about it all night and are waiting for it to go viral on TikTok.
These are all of the guests whose gowns were apart of the Chuppah.
Bekah used to distribute Three Notchd beer and so they had their own wedding beer brewed called the Newly Nelson IPA, it was a hit!!!
The Jangling Reinharts were AMAZING and kept the dance floor going all night.
Why have cake when you can have Nightingale ice cream sandwiches, YUM!!
