Jessie and Hagan are the ONLY AE bride and groom I had not met until their wedding day. There have been a select few times, I’d never met the groom, but never both the bride and groom. I tell you this because I left their wedding feeling like not just acquaintances but friends! Jessie & Hagan both surround themselves by some of the best people.
These two grew up in Richmond and actually met while they were in high school, crazy! They went their separate ways for a few years but ended up back together and now live in Savannah, Georgia (this is the reason we weren’t able to meet). I first and foremost want to point out and thank Hagan for his service to our nation through the Army. In fact, several groomsmen and friends also serve and it was an honor to spend the day with them.
A little secret about these two- their family and friends can PARTY!!! They had their ceremony early in the day so their reception could be extra long. It was so much fun!! The party was complete with margaritas, a nacho bar, Boka Taco, cupcakes, and late night pizza delivery. I was personally in heaven!! A few things about this wedding that I will never forget- seeing Hagan’s face when Jessie came down the aisle, the relationship that Jessie and Hagan both have with all of their parents, and watching you guys belt out Panic at the Disco on the dance floor. It was such a beautiful day and I thank you both for trusting me to document it. Enjoy!
Another successful bridesmaids first look!
This bridal party was SO MUCH FUN! The guys wanted a turn with the bouquets and just wait until you see this party crew later at the reception.
I love catching a mom looking at her son seeing his bride for the first time…
Jessie- I had to throw this funny one in…
Margs delivered to the couple during portraits, A+!
Jessie and Hagan had a bunch of their favorite drinks and food at their wedding and it was incredible! They had margs, a nacho bar, tacos from Boka Taco, and late night delivery of pizza.
An army welcome into their reception and some killer bridal party entrances.
I loved seeing all of their guests get excited about them being announced into the reception under the swords.
Photographers- take sunset pictures of guests and parents!!
Like I said, this group came to party. They even had a prank during the garter removal, too funny!
These guys were the life of the party. This guy split his pants, I’ll spare you from that photo. Here is the action shot though!
What’s better than being on the dance floor with all your friends eating cupcakes, pizza, and drinking a marg?!
