Hi there, I’m Ashley Edmunds and I photograph weddings all over the world but my heart is in Virginia. I grew up in Richmond, lived in the heart of Shenandoah for 7 years, and then found my way back to Richmond. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a little Richmond obsessed. I can help you find the best restaurant, park, or brewery for any part of this wonderful city. I love photographing weddings here at home, in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, DC, and beyond! When I’m not photographing weddings I’m most likely chasing River, my yellow lab trying to get a shoe out of his mouth, teaching my high school kiddos, or traveling with my amazing fiance Craig.
Angela & Jarrod had the most beautiful day for a Keswick Vineyards Wedding!! The Fall leaves had just started to changed colors, the temperature was perfect, and excitement was an all time high! Angela & Jarrod spent over a year planning this day and it was PERFECT!! Every detail was thought out and came together so beautifully. Keswick weddings are some of my favorite because of the layout and beauty of the venue itself. Everything is super close together (ceremony, cocktail hour, pool, reception) and every corner you turn is just jaw dropping. The vines are so beautiful during the sunset hours!
Angela & Jarrod’s True Love
These two were meant to be!!! They were so natural and easy to photograph because of the love they share. I wept during their vows during the ceremony, it was so beautiful. They also included their dog, Tucker in their day. Angela did a first look with Tucker and they had him run to her down the aisle, it was so special. Tucker attended cocktail hour, portraits, and got a little frightened when we popped the confetti. Tucker’s dog trainer, Ashley, came and she was such a big help. Another favorite part of your wedding were the parent dances. Angela is an only child and did a first dance with her mom and dad, it was beautiful! Angela and Jarrod decided to play home photos and videos behind them on a projector as they danced with their parents. I don’t think their was a dry eye in the whole tent.
Thank you both for the honor of being your wedding photographer. I wish you many happy years!!!
Thank you both again, to see another wedding, check out Lauren & Mike on the blog!
