Hi there, I’m Ashley Edmunds and I photograph weddings all over the world but my heart is in Virginia.
I grew up in Richmond, lived in the heart of Shenandoah for 7 years, and then found my way back to Richmond. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a little Richmond obsessed. I can help you find the best restaurant, park, or brewery for any part of this wonderful city. I love photographing weddings here at home, in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, DC, and beyond! When I’m not photographing weddings I’m most likely chasing River, my yellow lab trying to get a shoe out of his mouth, teaching my high school kiddos, or traveling with my amazing fiance Craig.

Country Club of Virginia Wedding

Cabell and Peter had a Fall Country Club of Virginia wedding that would stop you in your tracks, it was truly such a magical weekend. We kicked off the wedding weekend with their rehearsal dinner and welcome party on Friday night. I always love being apart of these events. I got to hear around 10 speeches and meet all of their important people. What an emotional fun dinner at Chez Foushee. From there a trolley took them to a French themed welcome party at Can Can. There was more food than you can imagine and everyone had an absolute blast.

Wedding Day

Cabell got ready steps aways from the Country Club at her parents house with all of her sisters, nieces, and friends. A trolley took them to the church and we were lucky enough to have 20 minutes of sunlight after their beautiful ceremony to take a few portraits. Make sure you check out their sweet dog walking down the aisle! Once everyone arrived to the club, the party truly started. I absolutely loved how involved Cabell and Peter’s sweet nieces and nephews were in their day- it was so adorable to see them praying over dinner, helping Cabell get ready, and dancing all night long. You two truly know how to throw a fun party and I was honored to play a small role. I hope you had an amazing honeymoon!

Amore Events did an incredible job planning the whole weekend with Cabell and Peter. No detail was missed and everything went on time and so smooth! Special shoutout to all vendors at the end of the post. Thanks again you two and enjoy reliving the best day!
