Hi there, I’m Ashley Edmunds and I photograph weddings all over the world but my heart is in Virginia.
I grew up in Richmond, lived in the heart of Shenandoah for 7 years, and then found my way back to Richmond. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a little Richmond obsessed. I can help you find the best restaurant, park, or brewery for any part of this wonderful city. I love photographing weddings here at home, in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, DC, and beyond! When I’m not photographing weddings I’m most likely chasing River, my yellow lab trying to get a shoe out of his mouth, teaching my high school kiddos, or traveling with my amazing fiance Craig.

Main Street Station Wedding

I have been looking forward to Lauren and Mike’s Main Street Station wedding for SO long!!! Right when Lauren hired me, she mentioned she worked at a place called The Bunny Hive which is a social club for babies and their parents. I decided to go visit her at work and Annie felling love (with Lauren & The Bunny Hive). This community was so amazing to have during Annie’s first year of life. She would light up anytime she saw Ms. Lauren!! It was so fun for me to see Lauren doing what she’s amazing at and get to hear about wedding plans during her time of engagement. I did not take their engagement photos, so I didn’t get to really know Mike until the wedding day.

It was VERY clear to me how perfect these two are for each other when I met Mike. He is so laid back, friendly, caring, and knows how to have a good time. Also, I loved seeing you two interact all day!

The Perfect Day

Lauren got ready at the beautiful Quirk Hotel and Mike got ready at Main Street Station. Then we all met up at St. Paul’s Catholic Church for the ceremony. The plan was to take a trolley to Libby Hill Park for portraits but no one knew there would be THOUSANDS of people there for a festival. Lauren & Mike handled it so well and we decided to do all the portraits at Main Street Station. This was SUCH a blessing in disguise. The lighting and portraits we got at Main Street were to die for!!!

Congrats again you two!!! Thanks for such an amazing day. Vendors are all listed below, what a great team!!
