Hi there, I’m Ashley Edmunds and I photograph weddings all over the world but my heart is in Virginia.
I grew up in Richmond, lived in the heart of Shenandoah for 7 years, and then found my way back to Richmond. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a little Richmond obsessed. I can help you find the best restaurant, park, or brewery for any part of this wonderful city. I love photographing weddings here at home, in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, DC, and beyond! When I’m not photographing weddings I’m most likely chasing River, my yellow lab trying to get a shoe out of his mouth, teaching my high school kiddos, or traveling with my amazing fiance Craig.

Outlook at Saddle Ridge Wedding

What a way to kick off 2026 wedding season!!! This Outlook at Saddle Ridge wedding was stunning! I honestly feel so lucky to have photographed this wedding. Victoria and Tony found themselves on the hunt for a photographer 2 weeks before their wedding and we connected and the rest is history. During those 2 weeks, we had lots of uncertainty with the ice storm. Thankfully, everyone worked together and just days before it was confirmed that the wedding was on!! The details of this wedding were so well thought out and beautiful. Victoria and her mom had a vision and it came to life so so beautifully. The Outlook at Saddle Ridge was the perfect backdrop with the ice and snow. The reception space was transformed with the help of so many vendors, family, and friends.

Favorite Moments

Some of my favorite moments were all of the special dances. Victoria surprised her mom by dedicating her bouquet to her and a special dance, it was so sweet. I also loved working with DJ Blendmasters. They are professional dancers and it was so much fun to see them on the dance floor all night. The cold sparks were SO cool and added so much to the dances, cake cutting, and exit. I also loved all of the fun desserts and late night snacks Victoria and Tony picked out.
