Hi there, I’m Ashley Edmunds and I photograph weddings all over the world but my heart is in Virginia.
I grew up in Richmond, lived in the heart of Shenandoah for 7 years, and then found my way back to Richmond. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a little Richmond obsessed. I can help you find the best restaurant, park, or brewery for any part of this wonderful city. I love photographing weddings here at home, in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, DC, and beyond! When I’m not photographing weddings I’m most likely chasing River, my yellow lab trying to get a shoe out of his mouth, teaching my high school kiddos, or traveling with my amazing fiance Craig.

My first wedding of 2019 is going to be a hard one to beat!! Brittany and Everette got married at the AMAZING Raspberry Plan Manor in Leesburg, Virginia. If every wedding day could go as smoothly as Everette and Brittany’s, there would be a lot less stress in the world. I am so thankful I have gotten to know these two and their families on an even deeper level than I already knew them. Brittany’s sister is one of my best friends and has always been my biggest cheerleader for my photography business. I am so thankful she connected me with Brittany.

Brittany and Everette know how to throw down. Their wedding was one big celebration. Trust me, that takes some convincing! My favorite parts of the day were seeing Brittany’s first look with her dad, Everette’s dance with his grandma, and seeing my favorite buddy, Teddy, book it down the aisle! Their second goal, after being married, of course, was to make sure their guests were comfortable and having fun. This was so apparent in everything they designed and planned. We ended up having a beautiful day to watch these two promise forever together. I am so thankful that I had a great team of vendors to work with, I have linked all of their sites at the end of the post..make sure to check them out!

Thanks again Brittany and Everette. I don’t think I’ve ever been happier looking back on and editing pictures. I hope your first three weeks of married life have been amazing!
