Hi there, I’m Ashley Edmunds and I photograph weddings all over the world but my heart is in Virginia.
I grew up in Richmond, lived in the heart of Shenandoah for 7 years, and then found my way back to Richmond. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a little Richmond obsessed. I can help you find the best restaurant, park, or brewery for any part of this wonderful city. I love photographing weddings here at home, in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, DC, and beyond! When I’m not photographing weddings I’m most likely chasing River, my yellow lab trying to get a shoe out of his mouth, teaching my high school kiddos, or traveling with my amazing fiance Craig.

Hollyfield Manor Wedding

Pulling up the long driveway to a colorful Hollyfield Manor wedding always feels like coming home! I always get there early so I can find Jessica in the reception space and catch up. I am always so honored when you all hire me to work here, such a beautiful place. Natalie and Joe had such a perfect day!! The florals were bright and colorful, the sunset was absolutely unreal, and the excitement was unmatched!!

Trust

Working with a couple like Natalie and Joe makes my job so easy. They hired the best of the best vendors and trusted them all day. Since I’ve worked at Hollyfield so much I know exactly when the lighting is best on the dock, and the bright orange sunset will shine through the willow tree, and how the back of the house is best for mid day sun portraits. They trusted every location and move I suggested and because of that, their gallery is LARGE and STUNNING. I honestly can’t get over the sunset photos, they are some of my favorites!

Family and Friends

Natalie and Joe had the sweetest family and bridal party! You’ll see their nieces and nephew make lots of appearances in their photos. I can tell how close you all are. Your speeches were so meaningful and emotional. I enjoyed meeting everyone in your life, you two surround yourself by some of the best. Don’t miss the fun champagne pop to start the day, the sister dance off, and Natalie & Joe’s upbeat private dance song choice.
