Hi there, I’m Ashley Edmunds and I photograph weddings all over the world but my heart is in Virginia.
I grew up in Richmond, lived in the heart of Shenandoah for 7 years, and then found my way back to Richmond. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a little Richmond obsessed. I can help you find the best restaurant, park, or brewery for any part of this wonderful city. I love photographing weddings here at home, in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, DC, and beyond! When I’m not photographing weddings I’m most likely chasing River, my yellow lab trying to get a shoe out of his mouth, teaching my high school kiddos, or traveling with my amazing fiance Craig.
All about Craig and I's honeymoon to Napa Valley, San Francisco, and Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Craig and I tied the knot at the beautiful Pharsalia in May surrounded by our amazing family and friends.
Five reasons to take bridal portraits and photos of my very own bridal portrait session at Maymont.
I’m so excited to share Chris and Lauren’s wedding from last weekend at the beautiful Loft at Steamer Co 5 downtown Richmond! This intimate venue is one block off of Broad Street downtown and is the perfect spot if you have 75 or less guests. Lauren and Chris opted for an intimate wedding and reception […]

This blog post is really full circle and so special to me. Ashley and Eric had the perfect Fall evening for their engagement shoot! It felt so strange meeting them at 3:30 because we weren’t used to the sun setting so early but the lighting was perfect!! Eric and Ashley’s first date was on the rooftop at Quirk so it only made since to do some photos […]
I am SO excited to share about Powell and Cheryl’s River Farm wedding last Fall. Powell and Cheryl had to cut their guest list to immediate family only because of pandemic restrictions but you would have never known it being at their wedding. The day was filled with so much joy and so much celebration. […]
My favorite blog post of the whole entire year!!!! This is my 5th annual bride and groom superlatives and I am SO excited to share and brag on all of my 2020 brides and grooms. Most of these couples had to make significant changes to their wedding day and did it with such grace. 2020 […]
